BEKO TECHNOLOGIES presents the new DRYPOINT RA III

Neuss, April 08, 2024 - BEKO TECHNOLOGIES is now launching the third generation of its proven DRYPOINT RA compressed air refrigeration dryers. The new systems are available in five different sizes for capacities from 20 m³/h to 3000 m³/h and as air-cooled or water-cooled model specifications.

Users benefit from greater process reliability and energy efficiency. The modern design with the significantly more compact dimensions compared to the second generation of devices with the same performance stands for reliable compressed air drying. Beko Technologies integrates the electronically level-controlled Bekomat condensate drain into the DRYPOINT RA III refrigeration dryers as standard. The condensate drain is monitored via the central control unit of the refrigeration dryers. The excellent accessibility of all components reduces the time and effort required for servicing.

Environmentally friendly refrigerant

The new DRYPOINT RA III refrigeration dryers use the environmentally friendly refrigerant R513A with low GWP and ASHRAE A1 classification for non-flammability and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). The reduction in the amount of refrigerant by an average of 33 % compared to the second generation of appliances protects the environment.

Intelligent control

BEKO TECHNOLOGIES has equipped the third generation of DRYPOINT RA refrigeration dryers with advanced control units. The smaller models for volume flows of up to 960 m³/h have an easy-to-operate LED controller with a large display. The more powerful models for volume flows of up to 3000 m³/h have a touchscreen controller. Important information on temperature and pressure as well as other operating parameters are displayed live. All refrigeration dryers are equipped with a Modbus RTU and are therefore IIoT-capable. Operators benefit from immediately visible alarm messages with time and date stamps as well as downloadable reports.

Heat exchanger design saves energy

A special feature is the new horizontal design of the integrated heat exchangers, which differs greatly from those in conventional refrigeration dryers. This minimizes pressure loss and saves energy. The model versions for volume flows from 370 m³/h increase their cooling efficiency thanks to an optimized microchannel condenser. This enables the use of a smaller refrigerant compressor and thus additional energy and cost savings.

The new DRYPOINT RA III refrigeration dryers also feature a patented hot gas bypass valve with external pressure equalization. The technology ensures a precise and stable pressure dew point of 3°C. This prevents freezing and gives users maximum process reliability.
