Cool dudes with smart technology!

Refrigeration dryers are suitable for a wide range of compressed air applications. They are the all-rounders in compressed air preparation, very popular, easy to handle and their purchase is inexpensive. However, they can only be used in a limited pressure dew point range. For pressure dew points lower than 3°C, other types of dryers must be used, e.g. adsorption dryers. These have a much wider range of applications, but are initially more expensive to purchase.

Refrigeration dryers work with a special refrigerant that cools down the compressed air through an intelligent cooling system with a heat exchanger. The compressed air is fed through the circuit and cools down. The moisture it contains precipitates as compressed air condensate and is discharged. This results in a lower pressure dew point and thus drier compressed air. A simple and effective system - but one that has the reputation of not being particularly energy-efficient.

But this is mainly due to the fact that many refrigeration dryers run around the clock. Completely independent of whether they are needed or not.

This can also be done much more economically! With the right refrigeration dryer for the respective requirements. This calls for a sense of proportion and good advice (we have both!).

DRYPOINT RA refrigeration dryers are energy-efficient and economical. Their flow-optimised heat exchanger system reduces the differential pressure to an absolute minimum. The balanced cooling process ensures the lowest possible energy input. And thanks to the electronically level-controlled condensate discharge via the BEKOMAT, no compressed air is lost as standard.

For compressed air applications with fluctuating air volume flows, there is another particularly well thought-out and efficient dryer solution:

The DRYPOINT RA eco models. They are great energy savers thanks to intelligent functions that include different volume flows and power consumption adapted to changing drying requirements. They only work when they are needed. Quasi a "cool on demand". This has a clearly positive effect on costs and quality.
