METPOINT® MMA: For the quality of the air we breath

Artificial respiration for human beings demands the highest sensitivity and awareness. Even the slightest contamination in respiratory air can seriously endanger the health of a patient. That is why medical respiratory air is subjected to the most stringent standards and regulations, for example the Pharmacopeia. Personnel responsible for the quality of medical respiratory air therefore need fail-safe, reliable quality monitoring. The METPOINT MMA compact is the perfect solution for this purpose..

Your assistant system in medical applications

Increased demands are combated by the METPOINT MMA compact with unrivalled performance: The entire medical compressed air cycle is continuously monitored. All relevant measurements are immediately and precisely displayed, results are continuously recorded. This therefore documents compliance with the limiting values within the interpretation of the European Pharmacopoeia and errors or faults when processing compressed air are visible.

If the limiting values are exceeded, then the system immediately triggers an alarm that is specifically retrieved or processed directly in the quality assurance system. The METPOINT MMA compact can simultaneously monitor six defined parameters from the central compressed air station:
Oxygen, sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides & residual oil content

Separate sampling is no longer required.

Advantages of METPOINT® MMA compact

  • Complete measuring system especially for the monitoring of breathing air, e.g. in hospitals
  • Continuous, error-free measurement of medical compressed air
  • Alarm triggering if the limit values according to EU Pharmacopeia are exceeded

  • Constant logging of results
  • Remote access with complete network integration
  • Easy installation and integration in the compressed air circuit

  • Intuitive operation via touch screen
  • Automatic calibration in 24 hour cycles with integrated, certified reference gas cylinders
  • Designed for sustainable quality management

Our calibration service for your METPOINT® MMA

Transducers and transmitters are exposed to mechanical stress and temperature fluctuations among others. As a result e.g. the measuring accuracy of sensors decreases and generates a so-called “drift”, which then falsifies the measured results and can thereby impair production and product quality. BEKO TECHNOLOGIES provides a comprehensive range of calibration services for volume flow sensors, pressure dew point transmitters, pressure measurement converters and analyses devices. The calibration is executed according to a specified calibration method from BEKO TECHNOLOGIES and is a so-called ISO calibration. ISO calibration is based on reference measurements performed with externally provided test specimens and certified reference devices. All reference devices can be traced back to national standards. The relevant procedures and methods meet the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001 quality standard.
