EVERDRY® heat-regenerated desiccant dryers
EVERDRY® FR: flexible - Regeneration utilising blown air
Desorption by utilising heated blown air is the fundamental principle for the EVERDRY FR basic concept. The system unifies tried and tested process technology with state of the art plant, system and control system engineering. Three standardised, but still very variable, basic concepts are currently available. These are universally implementable and have proven themselves in all climatic zones. Control and pneumatic cabinets are located with all basic concepts on the front of the system for simplified operation, trouble-free control and maintenance. 23 models cover performance stages from 580 up to 20,000 m³/h, higher volume flows can be implemented on request.
EVERDRY® FRA ambient air: Cooling utilising ambient air
Desorption with EVERDRY FRA is executed in the counter-current to the adsorption direction with heated blown air and cooling by utilising blown air in the direct current. No compressed air losses therefore result for regeneration (ZERO Purge). Utilising this desiccant dryer is dependent on the ambient conditions, which must be inspected before every application.
EVERDRY® FRL Loop: encapsulated cooling air routing
Desorption with EVERDRY FRL is executed in the counter-current to the adsorption direction with heated blown air and cooling by utilising blown air in the direct current in an encapsulated cooling circuit (loop). The cooling stage is therefore created independently of the ambient conditions, which means that this desiccant dryer can be utilised worldwide in every climatic zone. Compressed air is not required for the cooling stage (ZERO Purge).

EVERDRY® Combitroc CT- Efficiently combined
The EVERDRY COMBITROC CT series provides the optimal processing combination of a refrigeration dryer and a desiccant dryer. In principle, a refrigeration dryer will provide energy savings and achieve a pressure dew point of +3 °C. A lower pressure dew point is required during colder seasons in order to reliably prevent condensate. The system then automatically switches on the heat-regenerating desiccant dryer, thereby creating a secure pressure dew point of below -40 °C. Another additional advantage of this combination: 100 % back up with failure of one drying unit.
Refrigeration and adsorption in one
The EVERDRY COMBITROC CT is perfectly suited for applications in almost every climatic zone. Desorption is executed in the counter-current to the adsorption direction with heated blown air, the cooling by utilising blown air. Local application conditions and economic parameters ultimately determine the individual, customer-specific project solutions. Higher volume flows can be implemented on request.
Characteristics of the EVERDRY COMBITROCat a glance:
- Processing unit for setting to Summer or Winter modes
- Complete concept including pipework, fittings, upstream and downstream filters
- Adsorption dryer with a back up function means: Can be implemented even when the refrigeration dryer is not available for use.
Advantages of EVERDRY® CT
Energy-optimised concept
- Beneficial individual fittings
- Energy-efficient dew point control system
- Combination dryer

EVERDRY® HOC: sustainable use of the heat of compression
The EVERDRY HOC plants utilise the existing compression heat from oil-free pressurised, compressed air for the desorption. The is the best, energy-related method for compressed-air drying. Depending on the final compression temperature (between 100°C and 200°C), pressure dew points between -5°C and -40°C can be achieved in this case without any additional energy consumption.
The whole process sequence (adsorption, desorption and cooling) is executed here under operating pressure as opposed to conventional desiccant dryers. In addition to the advantages for energy-related consideration, this creates enormous advantages for the service life of the functional elements: The pressure changing loads on fixtures, pressure vessel, pipework and desiccant are no longer applicable.
Systems and plants with a volume flow of 100,000 m3/h are also feasible on request.
EVERDRY® HOC-F
The desorption in the EVERDRY HOC-F is executed in full flow by exploiting the compression heat and the cooling in the full flow and utilising the cold compressed air volume flow. No compressed-air losses for regeneration (ZERO Purge).
For compressors equipped with or without integrated after cooler.
EVERDRY® HOC-P
EVERDRY® HOC-R
The desorption in the EVERDRY® HOC-R is executed in the full flow by exploiting the compression heat. A reload desorption follows as an option for lower dew points. The cooling is executed, without pressure loss, with a partial flow from the dried compressed air. No pressurised air losses for regeneration (ZERO Purge).
Advantages of EVERDRY® HOC
Energy-optimised concept
- Utilising compression heat
- No pressurised air losses for regeneration
- Flow-optimised single fixtures for minimising pressure losses
